In these Terms & Conditions, “Activator D”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to VDM A Trading trading as Activator D.

3. Our Products
Activator D supplies pool-treatment products intended for use in swimming pools and related applications as described on the relevant product packaging and product information.
Products must always be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, dosage recommendations and safety warnings.
Customers are responsible for reading all instructions and safety information before using a product.
We do not recommend using any pool-treatment product for a purpose other than the purpose for which it is supplied.
4. Product Safety
Pool-treatment chemicals must be handled responsibly.
Customers should:

Keep products out of reach of children and pets.

Store products in accordance with the product instructions.

Keep products away from food, beverages and other substances where required by the product instructions.

If a product has specific safety instructions supplied by its manufacturer, those instructions take precedence for the safe handling and use of that product.
Activator D is not responsible for injury, damage or loss resulting from misuse, incorrect dosage, unsafe storage, failure to follow product instructions or unauthorised mixing of chemicals, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product packaging, colours, photographs or labels may change from time to time due to manufacturer updates.
A photograph displayed on the website may not always be an exact representation of the packaging supplied.
If a material error in product information affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
6. Prices
All prices on our website are stated in South African Rand (ZAR).
VDM A Trading is not currently VAT registered.
Accordingly, we do not charge VAT on our sales unless our VAT status changes and we are legally required to do so.
Prices may change at any time.
The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete the purchase, subject to correction of genuine errors.
Any applicable delivery charges or other charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
7. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are requesting to purchase the products selected at checkout.
An order is subject to product availability and successful payment.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

Once an order has been dispatched, changes may no longer be possible and may be dealt with as a return, cancellation or delivery issue where applicable.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is processed for dispatch.

Payment information may therefore be processed by the relevant payment provider in accordance with that provider's terms and privacy practices.

We currently provide delivery within South Africa using our nominated courier or delivery service.
Available delivery options, delivery charges and applicable delivery information will be displayed during checkout or described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery timeframes are estimates unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly agreed.
Delivery may be affected by:
